Sandra Thompson was born in Toronto, Canada, the first daughter of 5 children.  Sandra, pen-name SJKootz, is a scholar of history and its rise and fall of great civilizations, but is especially fascinated by the mysterious lives of the ancient inhabitants of Central America.  What would the people have been like prior to anno domin?  What would their daily life consist of?  Why were their advanced civilization and all their cities abandoned?

In the past few years, Sandra turned her focus on a lighter, fun subject -- one that was originally started over 30 years with her young children but was interrupted by serious health issues with one of her children.  Bringing this book idea off the shelf, it has  become the fun illustrated book, FAT CAT COOKBOOK, that features delightful cats and mice frolicking among its pages.  Along with her supportive sister, artist Laurie Maitland, they brought the characters to life creating a beautiful compelling book featuring recipes for the cat lovers who would love to show their dedication to their adoring feline pets.  Please see more on this in the coming pages.
